Vikriti vs. Prakriti: The Gap Between Your Blueprint and Your Now

You were issued a set of factory settings. Life has been pulling you away from them ever since. Healing starts with measuring that gap.

At the exact moment an egg is fertilized, it releases a burst of zinc. It's bright enough that researchers at Northwestern University photographed it glowing under a microscope. They call it the zinc spark.

Ayurveda, India's traditional system of medicine, has pointed at that same moment for thousands of years. It says that's when your constitution gets set. Nobody's claiming the two describe the same mechanism. They're just noticing the same thing. Something gets fixed at the start that you don't get to re-roll.

Prakriti: Your Factory Settings

In Ayurveda, your Prakriti is your built-in mix of three energy patterns, called doshas:

Vata

Air and space. Governs movement, nerve signaling, and circulation.

Pitta

Fire and water. Governs metabolism, digestion, and transformation.

Kapha

Earth and water. Governs structure, lubrication, and stability.

Almost nobody is all one dosha. Most people are a blend of two, with one leading. And that ratio doesn't change. You're the same Prakriti at forty that you were at four.

Think of it as your car's VIN number. It's the base model your body shipped as.

Vikriti: Today's Dashboard Light

Vikriti is where your doshas are right now. Diet, stress, sleep, season, injury, posture, and age all push it around. If Prakriti is the VIN, Vikriti is the warning light on today's dashboard.

What you actually treat is the gap between the two.

That's why two people with the same symptom can need different care. Say two people both have low back tightness. One is naturally Kapha, with a denser, slower build. The other is naturally Vata, leaner and more mobile. "Back to normal" means something different for each of them. Pushing them both toward the same generic target ignores what each one was built to be.

Hot, Cold, Wet, Dry

Ayurveda gives you qualities to check. Too much heat looks like inflammation, irritability, and heartburn. Too much cold looks like stiffness, poor circulation, and cold hands. Too much wet looks like congestion and swelling. Too much dry looks like cracking joints and dry skin.

Then it pulls you back the other way with cooling or warming foods, oils and broths, or lighter meals. But here's the part most people miss. Your neutral isn't a universal number. It's your own Prakriti.

How This Maps to the Way We Work

The same idea runs through our Four Pillars. Your baseline is how your joints, muscle timing, and nerves worked before compensation set in. Your current state is what an assessment measures today. Treatment targets the gap. Not a generic "perfect" posture, but your body's return to its own baseline.

The job isn't to force everyone into the same shape. It's to close the gap between what your body was built to do and what it's doing right now.

Where the Laser Helps Close the Gap

Super pulsed cold laser is one of the tools that does the pulling. Plainly:

Energy pays for the labor. Those cells are the crew. Collagen is the rebar.

But the laser can't skip the measuring step. You wouldn't drink a warming tea for a hot, inflamed condition. In the same way, your protocol is matched to your healing phase and your current readout, not to a generic complaint.

Not Sure Where to Start?

Closing the gap starts with measuring it. An assessment reads where your body is today so treatment can aim at your baseline, not someone else's.
